The Mindful Crafting Teacher Training is a 12-week live program where creativity, mindfulness, and pedagogy meet. You’ll strengthen your own practice, refine your craft, and learn to guide others into presence and flow — in classrooms, studios, community groups, and cultural institutions.

Teaching enriches humanness
But here’s the truth: cookie-cutter, interchangeable classes aren’t enough anymore.
People don’t simply want to make a project — they want to feel something. They want to walk away with more than a finished piece: they want a moment they’ll remember.
Mindful crafting answers this longing. It is more than a hobby — it is a way of creating moments that matter, both for the maker and for the guide.
Until now, there’s been no structured way to train crafters to offer this kind of depth.
The Mindful Crafting Teacher Training changes that.
MCI Teachers are crafters, teachers, yogis, guides, practicioners
This program is for teachers, makers, and guides who believe that creativity can be more than instruction — it can be a path to presence and connection.
It's for you if you want to
Enrich your arts and crafts classes so students leave not just with skills, but with a sense of calm, flow, and renewal.
Add hands-on practice to a yoga, movement or mindfulness path — creating a bridge between body, breath, and creativity.
Bring mindful making into cultural spaces — museums, galleries, and community programs — where craft can spark reflection and belonging.
Integrate craft into therapeutic work — giving clients structured, embodied interventions that open new doors for healing.
What we offer.
Your own practice — Experience mindful crafting in your own body and hands.
Your craftsmanship — Deepen your skills and creative voice.
Teaching crafts — Learn to guide others step by step, with clarity and joy.
Teaching mindfulness & inquiry — Lead reflection, silence, and discussion with confidence.

Weekly live classes on Sundays (recorded if you miss).

Full manual + recordings to keep forever.
Certificate of completion
Bonus for Yoga Teachers: Yoga Alliance CE recogition
Here’s what that looks like:
Lead with confidence — classes where hands are busy, hearts are calm, and people walk away changed.
Unite craft + mindfulness seamlessly — not bolted together, but woven as one practice.
Expand your reach — bring mindful crafting into studios, schools, guilds, museums, and therapy groups.
Stand out with a full toolkit — ready-made exercises, prompts, and practices.
Build a practice that sustains you — creatively, emotionally, and financially.
Whether in a quilting circle, a museum program, or a therapy group, you’ll know how to create encounters where craft becomes meaning.
"I used to leave class feeling drained, like I had given everything and had nothing left. But when I began to weave mindfulness into the way I teach, the energy changed direction. Suddenly, my students weren’t just learning a skill — they were opening up. And the gift I gave them was also the one I received: presence, renewal, and connection." - Natalie R.
MCI Teachers are crafters, teachers, yogis, guides, practicioners
This training is not a pre-recorded course you slog through alone.
It is a live, professional learning journey designed to carry you forward.
Sundays: Deep dive, practice, and teaching in live community.
Thursdays: Coaching, reflection, and integration.
After the 12 weeks: Support continues — certification homework, plus community as you begin sharing your work.
Recordings & manual: Yours to keep forever.
Because of the level of support, spaces are limited. You are not just a participant — you are important and seen.
What exactly will you learn? A lot more than “how to teach a class.” This training gives you the tools to weave craftsmanship, mindfulness, and teaching presence into something much deeper:
Craftsmanship & Materials: Know your fibers, tools, color, and methods. Learn the difference between producing and creating — and how to guide students into intuitive designing, repair traditions, and the relationship between hand, heart, and material.
Your Own Practice: Build a grounded, sustainable personal practice — starting with the body, space, grounding, visualization, and energy laws. You’ll explore color as a special gateway, and intuition as a method.
Teaching Crafts: How to structure classes, guide fine motor skills, deal with tricky moments, and design experiences that are more than skill drills — they become co-crafted, unique moments.
Teaching Mindfulness: The science of stress, hormones, meditation, and hand-brain coordination. How to create safe space, use inquiry, and hold the MCI class structures with depth and confidence.
Relating to All Audiences: Tools to connect with different groups and the whole sweep of human craftsmanship through the ages.
Bonus Class: Running a Business: Practical steps for setting up your teaching as a profession: pricing, positioning, and creating classes that stand out.
This is a training that shapes you, your teaching, and your work in the world.
The training runs for 12 weeks, with a rhythm that supports both depth and integration.
Sundays: 2.5-hour live sessions (practice, teaching, reflection, teach-back).
Thursdays: 45-minute coaching & Q&A calls.
Self-paced: Practice logs + reflection prompts.
You’ll learn for 2–3 hours, and then teach back for the final hour each week. This means you’ll graduate not just with knowledge — but with lived teaching experience.
Throughout: coaching calls, feedback from your mentor, and the living circle of peers to exchange ideas with.
The full 12-week live training, with recordings, manual, coaching calls, certification support, and continuing mentorship is €1,700.
• €200 discount (tuition €1,500 instead of €1,700).
• A private 1:1 mentoring call to map your personal teaching pathway.
• One free year in MCIrcle (our professional network & resource hub).
• Pay in full (€1,700).
• 3 installments (€590 each).
• Early enrollment discount is for full-pay only.
Spaces are limited to keep the circle intimate and interactive
Here you’ll learn to create co-crafted, unique experiences that go far beyond interchangeable classes.
You’ll be able to design moments where students feel their hands engaged and their hearts at ease. You will allow creativity and presence to seamlessly weave together. A sense of connection that lingers long after class ends.
This is what makes your teaching magnetic — and what keeps students coming back.

Send an email and set up a quick appointment. Make sure this training is the right fit. Mail kelly@mindfulcraftersinstitute.com for an appointment!
Unlike other programs with endless forms and restrictions, we keep the process simple and personal.
To complete your enrollment, just send an email to Kelly Wright kelly@mindfulcraftersinstitute.com with:
A short note about who you are and your background.
Why you feel called to this training and how it will support your current work or life.
Links to your website, portfolio, or social media where we can see your work.
Simple as that. Once your email is received, you’ll be invited to a short Zoom chat with MCI teachers — a chance to meet, ask questions and choose a mentor.
We do it this way because we want to know you as a person, not as a form. That’s how true community begins.
Q: How do I apply?
A: To keep the training circle intimate, applications are simple and personal. Just send an email to Kelly Wright (kelly@mindfulcraftersinstitute.com), and introduce yourself. Tell us
who you are,
why you want to take this training,
what benefits you hope for.
If you like, you can include a link to your social media or website to share your work.
Q: What does “ongoing support” mean?
A: From the moment you join, you’ll be assigned your own personal mentor. They’ll support you during the training, through your certification process, and even afterwards as you bring this work into your own community. You won't be left alone to figure it out unless that's what you want.
Q: What if I can’t make one of the live sessions?
A: Every session is recorded, and you’ll also receive a detailed training manual. You’ll always be able to catch up, review, and revisit the material whenever you need to.
Q: What if I don’t consider myself an artist or a craftsperson — is this still for me?
A: Absolutely. The training is designed for educators, therapists, yoga and mindfulness teachers, museum pedagogues, and community leaders — anyone who works with people and wants to bring creativity and presence into their teaching. You’ll be guided step by step, and you’ll develop both your own practice and your confidence to share it with others.
Q: What if I change my mind after applying? What’s the refund policy?
A: Because spaces are limited, your application and payment secure one of those spots. For that reason, tuition is non-refundable once the program begins. If you withdraw before the training starts, we can refund your payment minus a €150 administrative fee, or apply your full tuition as credit toward a future MCI training.
Q: What if I have a medical condition?
A: During training, we want you to take care of yourself. If being onscreen for long periods of time stresses you or is not possible, then we will work a way around this. If you have special needs, let us know. The course usually involves some gentle movement. Please look after yourself and take responsibility for your own wellbeing and only participate as far as it benefits you.
The Mindful Crafting Teacher Training runs for 12 immersive weeks, blending live learning, immediate practice, and guided feedback. Each week you’ll spend 2–3 hours in live training — then step straight into teaching back, so you begin embodying your role as a mindful craft guide from day one.
Here’s a glimpse of what we’ll explore:
Your Own Practice as Foundation
Learn how to root your teaching in a sustainable, joyful practice. You’ll set up your space, develop grounding rituals, and discover how mindful movement and visualization prepare you (and your students) for creativity.
Craftsmanship & Materials: Working With What Matters
Deepen your knowledge of fibers, textures, tools, and processes. From weaving and stitching to repair and repurposing, you’ll learn how to guide students into a mindful relationship with materials — honoring their stories and respecting their origins.
The Role of Color — and Intuition as Gateway
Explore the psychology of color and its impact on mood and focus, while also unlocking your own intuitive sense of design. You’ll learn how to help students trust their instincts, use color as a pathway to flow, and discover how subtle choices open powerful creative gateways.
Designing with Intention
Move beyond interchangeable activities. Learn how to design mindful craft sessions that balance structure and spontaneity, skill-building and experiential flow — creating unique, co-crafted moments that resonate long after class ends.
Teaching Mindfulness Through Craft
Understand how stress, hormones, and the brain respond to creative focus. Practice guiding with presence: how to speak, how to hold space, how to inquire, and how to integrate mindfulness seamlessly into craft instruction.
Relating Across Audiences
Gain tools to connect with diverse groups — from children to elders, from therapy clients to museum visitors. Learn how to situate your teaching in the larger arc of human craftsmanship through the ages, so every class feels culturally rooted and universally resonant.
Flow of an MCI Class
Master the signature MCI structure: body-first grounding, mindful crafting in flow, and reflective closing. You’ll practice and refine this framework until it feels second nature — adaptable to any craft, setting, or audience.
From Practice to Presence
Discover how to maintain your own energy so teaching nourishes you as much as your students. You’ll experience the shift from teaching as “output” to teaching as reciprocal exchange.
Bonus: After the 12 weeks, you’ll also receive a Business of Mindful Crafting masterclass — giving you practical tools for setting up your teaching practice, running workshops, and integrating this training into your professional life.
Throughout, you’ll be supported with recordings, a detailed manual, and your own mentor — ensuring that everything you learn is applied directly, never just left on the page.
It’s an invitation to teach in a way that sustains you, inspires your students, and contributes to a cultural movement where creativity and presence belong together.
If you’ve ever felt called to guide not only in making, but in truly being — this training is for you.
Apply now, join the conversation, and step into the joy of teaching the way it was meant to feel: alive, connected, and deeply human.
